So you wanted many sensors?

This website gives all the information you need to build your own wearable sensor system which can read the data from 30 sensors(*) and forward it to the serial port of your own wearable. All components are relatively cheap and available off-the-shelf, and multiple modules can be attached to one wearable computer, one for each available serial port. This way, a network of hundreds of sensors can be attached directly to most types of computers.
